I've been hearing on the news about protesters during the diamond jubilee that are angry about the cost and extravagance for taxpayers supporting the monarchy. It seems a growing minority feel the royal family are well past their usefulness.

Good heavens, the literate represent the past, and the Monarchy represent the future of our new, electronic culture. You can see it in the faces of Prince William and Kate.
