I'm relieved, not to mention absolutely delighted, that this [word for an orifice] has finally been captured, and I hope that he gets a very severe punishment indeed. If it were up to me, he would be forced live on a mayonnaise-only diet for the rest of his life. I'm particularly upset with him because he has given homophobes an (ill-founded, considering that this kind of thing transcends sexuality) excuse to claim that there's something wrong with gay people (although the article I read stated that he's actually bisexual, which is a possibility that a number of commentators have been curiously oblivious to); just recently I saw someone make the idiotic statement that this incident occurred as a result of same-sex marriage. That particular statement isn't even something that needs to be addressed. Ever. By anyone. Because it's just too stupid and blatantly dishonest to be taken seriously.

On a side note, this guy looked very attractive to me in the picture they posted with the article I read. That, to me, is a very pointed reminder that you had better not let a person's appearance reel you in. Demented people, in particular, often acquire a knack for making themselves look charming: 'tis bait for the prey.

I don't know if I would wish that on anyone.

Gotta say, though, it's a very good thing that this one is off the streets. Here's to hoping that justice is served.

This was just a sideshow. I'm glad the guy was caught, but the real criminals (Wall Street) still go unpunished and they've caused infinitely more harm than this guy.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

    HOLD EVERYTHING

Video footage from the death and dismembering of a Chinese student seems to show the suspect eating the body, Canadian police said Tuesday. The porn actor suspected in the killing, meanwhile, told authorities in Germany he would not fight extradition to Canada.

Montreal Police Cmdr. Ian Lafreniere said that although police have not been able to conclusively confirm it, they suspect Luka Magnotta did eat parts of the body.

"As gross and as graphic as it could be, yes, it was seen on the video," Lafreniere said.
