What a ridiculous cover. This is about Newsweek vs Time. I hope they sensationalize each other right out of business.

This cover is so lame and clumsily executed that I had to check if it was even real.

Wow. This is not even sloppy journalism. That right there is shameless, thinly-veiled, sensationalistic misdirection. And just a headline? No small blurb under it to give people who buy the damn magazine a chance to figure out what the hell is up with that title? Newsweek, as a journalism student, I'm gonna give you a Z-. See me after class. Bring your own shin pads.

Also, can we not place halos in people's heads in mag covers? Please? I mean, you might as well photoshop horns and a crying puppy when portraying the adversary...

@Rasofy might remember what happened here in Brazil with the Superinteressante magazine. Once an explorer of interesting ideas, now a master of the Hitler-Jesus-Armageddon cycle.

printed media is dying out, and they'll do anything for a buck. their fall is still funny, the way toothless prostitutes or eating greasy chinese food is: you enjoy it, but then you just feel ashamed and sad for yourself afterwards.

    It reminded me of this:

Like I said, I think Newsweek almost folded... except it got bought out and/or merged with The Daily Beast, which I think was a more sensationalized online news format. I noticed a HUGE distinction in quality and direction when the new editor in chief took over.

I am not sure what Time's excuse is.

I wonder how US Daily News & World Report is doing.

I never thought he was gay. That being said, I don't see equality as an end in itself.

So you don't believe in equal rights? Not surprising really... It's apparent that most people who disapprove of gay marriage feel the same.
