    Smile TIME breastfeeding cover/Attachment parenting

So TIME magazine put this cover out recently and it is causing controversy, but is also spurring debate about attachment parenting which recommends breastfeeding your child past infancy and also sleeping in the same bed with your child.

So.. your thoughts? Is the cover too racy? How long should you breastfeed? What do you think about attachment parenting?

Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

Hot woman, therefore a little racy. If she were ugly then there would be little controversy, me thinks.

I just posted on facebook about this.

Breast feeding is becoming accepted and normal again. It's between the mothers and the children how long to breastfeed. This is basically making it a carnival side show.

Not that I'm against breastfeeding in public, but isn't that kid on the cover just a little too old to be being breastfed?

Well, that is what they advocate. Breastfeeding until at least 3. Sometimes as old as 6

^I'm from Europe, lol, and I don't think a 4 year old child needs breastfeeding.

I think what the two mean is that Europeans tend to have less of a problem with breastfeeding as such, independent of an age limit which is altogether a different issue.
