Well now that everyone knows about it it would be almost impossible for her to be viewed the same. If this were kept on the DL it would have been different I imagine.

    Eggzactly.
On a side note, I doubt that these underage guys banging hot teachers feel used. I mean, do you know how hard it is for a 15-year guy to get laid? At his age, the few girls that are already screwing around go for older guys. The ones younger than him are a bit too young. It sucks.

I like the radio and often listen to it

The transcript details the consequences of consuming alcohol whilst being employed as a teacher

It's an interesting juxtaposition. Yes, it's kind of different for a boy versus a girl, since the girl seems to be looking more for emotional/personal affirmation than sex, where boys just... want to have sex.

@Munchies I bet the parents would be even more afraid of her being around a younger group

@Jennifer might the girls not be jealous of the teacher for the attention she gets from the boys?
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

    Hmmm...

Daniel Radcliffe did nude scenes for Equus. Should he not be allowed around kids anymore?

I wonder if slut-shaming is a factor here.

Er... Regardless of the gender, I'm pretty sure a teacher getting laid with an underage student is statutory rape. Can you really say, in all cases, "Oh, he's a guy, so he won't be traumatized or feel abused in any way"?
    Tentative typing: ISFJ 6w5 or 9w1 (Sp/S[?]).

Ahhh...yes and no. I agree with you and Jennifer both. Girls do tend to look for personal affirmation/emotional affirmation (it may be because our obscene levels of oxytocin unfortunately not as easily blocked by testosterone) while boys, because of these testosterone levels, can indeed detach emotionally and simply be stroking their ego with sexual conquests.

Of course, this isn't applicable in all cases, and I think even in relationships where the guy is much younger he should have the legal status of being 18 and free to vote, go to war, get married, be sent to real prison, buy cigarettes and live on his own et al (but strangely not be able to drink a glass of wine in public) because otherwise there is first of all A LEGAL SOCIAL POWER IMBALANCE ...and also simply because he's probably not sexually mature.

And younger guys can be vulnerable, I know, I don't think it's fair to want to rip a teenaged boy to shreds just because he's male, that's evil and wrong and stupid.
