Ok, time foe UniqueMixture's theory of why politics/economics is not (nor ever can be) the answer.

Reason 1: human attribution of value does not come from cash it comes from dopamine release in conjunction with experience. $$$ does not take into account variance in the dopamine delivery systems that have evolved. This is why you cannot motivate some people with a "job" esp. low status ones that do not allow one to assert positive status. Also, some people don't release in conjunction with acquisition of possessions, this is why IN types are often not motivated!

Reason 2: politics comes from similar experiential feelings about life/the world/existence. The human race compels itself to acquire every experiential niche as a diversification strategy to survive. No political model allows this variance except one! That is the state of affairs in which coalitions of biomass vie with one another for territory and resources. If one coalition dominates another guess what? The new system will evolve the complexity of niches that it had before! Ideologues believe that everyone else is in their same niche : ) )
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

This says otherwise, even though I would like to disagree.

How does that disagree with my saying that if a person feels they can only get a job at mcdonald's they will not feel fulfilled? I agree that $$$ OFTEN overlaps with happiness, but I think the main reason is because of how people react to the STATUS of the individial in question. This is why the lame nerd like bill gates still cannot get the hot girl! Because most people's dopamine reward triggers are not set off ONLY by cash. People require a multi-phasic level of depth and complexity to be truly fulfilled
