. They want to do away with all crime, but will end up making riots in the process.lol. We need to ask, what is the ultimate objective beyond all of this. Why is it only now they decide to declare the internet a pottential concern, when 9/11 happened so long ago they didnt have the capacity to observe the internet for what it is, and only now declare the internet a "safehaven" for terrorists? Cyber security is crutial when you are starting wars with everyone. But as you can tell our cyber security is a joke and "annonymous" will probably lead the cyber world into the shit hole. "annonymous" are cyber "terrorists", there will be a 9/11 of the cyber world and an "internet patriot act" will be the reaction.

it's nice that you are trying to make a difference.but this is bigger than you. everyone falls on two sides of a spectrum. People for peace, and terrorists. What are you RailTracer? A conspiracy terrorist? an infowarrior? why are you trying to be so anarchist and "un-American"?
Everyone said Great Britain was too big for the U.S. to defeat. Un-American? I'd wished. Unless you consider dissenting to be un-American, you are truly un-American. Quite frankly, America wouldn't be if it did not dissent.

I have no problem with Cyber-Security. HOWEVER, I have a problem with legislation enacted without understanding the consequences of their actions. This, in itself, is a threat to all of us. The repercussions of such a bill is bigger than the Patriot Act, and it is most certainly bigger than the Healthcare Act.

So let me ask you Munchies, what are you? Why are you not making sure your government is for the people? Are you for 1984? Are you for a government and corporate tyranny? Are you for McCarthy, where corporations and government can immediately call you a cyber threat? Will they kick you out of the internet just because they see that you are dissenting and a threat to their own pockets?

Let me ask, are you for a government similar to China or India like how the current government and corporations keep blasting on for their own problems?

Where will we be if the Civil Rights movement cease to exist?

Where will we be if the Progressives did not take to the streets during the 1900's?

Where will we be if America never started that war?

Tell me, where will America be if no one ever dissented. Are you being a puppet?

oh i know dont worry. Im just implying that you are against mindless zombies that will label you. There are already conspiracy labels put out there, they are connotated with UFOs and other stupid conspiracies. If mit romney and Santorum have the biggest capacity to become president, i'd say your country of USA is already fucked.

Quite frankly, I'll be happy if there wasn't such a two-party system. And, as for a fact, I am glad that Santorum isn't going to be a nominee, but Congress is just as atrocious right about now as they have always been.

I've learned, for a fact, mainstream media absolutely love to hide information. Most, if not all, people who get their news fix probably don't even know what CISPA is let alone SOPA or PIPA. It is why I rarely ever watch the T.V. anymore, it is just a load of filtered information stuffed into people's throats.

Not only that, ISP corporations are working with other corporations to deny internet service if they suspect you are in an "inappropriate site" even if the allegations are false, around June or July, and that is nowhere on the mainstream news. All I hear is stupid Facebook and Instagram.

Just like all the other proposed e-watchdog acts, I don't think this will pass.

the people runnign this place either really don't know what they are doing, or are trying to make riots or some sort of anarchy. They passed bill c-10 in canada because"you are either with child pornographers or against them". c-10 is pretty much cispa with more powers. There is joint effort beyond these two governments, but they are complete idiots and don't know how to make shit fly with reality. It seems there would probably be backlash to some point but they probably could pass it.

well 800+ companies (excluding how big the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is.)

Unless we can spread the information fast enough, it is possible that it will pass. It is rare to see so many companies and associations band together like this. Every single congress member from the House and the Senate, they're all crazy! (Can't believe how some of these people live so close to my county.)

However, when it does pass, it is possible to immediately sue the government and bring it to the Supreme Court, but I'd rather strike it down now than have them have a say on it.

I want to shove it on these corporations that money does NOT buy a second time around.

You can sign this petition, if you are using any social media, spread the information about CISPA (or any media where you can spread the information that you use often.) What affects the U.S. with this bill will affect the internet as a whole and that, my friend, can mean the world. Facebook is already getting pounded for supporting CISPA (with their less than stellar excuse of supporting it.) Not only are we to make sure it is unpopular in the U.S., we need to make sure it is unpopular around the globe. If they decide to keep going on with this bill, they'd better have a good excuse AND and a completely fixed up bill because the world is watching them.

There will be a week of action coming soon to spread the information too (April 16th.)

By all means, SPREAD THE INFORMATION!

Spread to anyone inside and outside the U.S (sort of like this tweet craze about CISPA that is going on(link)

This bill is very big, it is going to redo the National Security Act of 1947..... and in a very small format compared to other big bills.

Related. No, not a conspiracy theorist. But hey, we're getting dangerously close.
