You are right Jen... it dosn't fly. Fan i am not.

Back on topic, it seems obvious to me, having now read the letter, that the man responsible for writing it is somewhat delusional... although, hats off, he has tied it in quite nicely with his beliefs and used it as a weapon against the "bad" guys.
What is sad is the number of (not capable of free thought) lemmings that will take his word as read. It's not a cliff it's a portal to paradise...yays!
It would be one thing if it were just this one crazy dude saying crazy things, but apparently this has been an issue for the religious right since 1994.

That's a strange thing to get worked up about. It's just a term signifying which side you fall on regarding the issue of abortion.
'pro-life' and 'pro-choice' are a lot vaguer semantically.

When the term is used to slander, dismiss, dominate, and misrepresent me, friends, and decent moderates as well as try to control the bodies/autonomy of women, it IS something to be upset about....and rather naive to not be aware of the impact words like this have on the dialog.

Why else do you think the term originated?

Why not "anti-life" while we're at it?

I mean, who the fuck is a fan of abortion?
Careful with those nuances you are waving round.
But isn't this the point? That it's annoying when a political affiliation is taken to mean that you are a fan of ____, when you really just want ____ to be legal?
