I too like to hijack threads to rant about iron. (no one ever suspects iron.)

And that's the irony of life.

    The end.

People seem to be shocked over her death. Why? Because she is a big name?

Drugs are drugs. Human bodies are relatively the same- treat your body like crap, it'll be like FU MAN and drop out. People can only handle so much, psychologically and physically.
Excuse me, but does this smell like chloroform to you?

because people are stupid and they think that because someone is in a magazine that they have been given a shield of immortality or a wand of longevity, etc.

My mom is like: I can't believe Whitney Houston is dead.

And I'm like- really? After all I have heard, I am not surprised! People have the oddest mentalities.

I contemplate this sort of stuff sometimes: it seems like magazines build people up to immortals only to say: LOOK! THEY ARE MORTAL! THEY DIE, GET DIVORCED, HAVE CELLULITE, AND LOOK LESS ATTRACTIVE WITH OUT MAKE UP!

Seriously people. Make up your minds.

There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

Uh... that would have all sorts of strange implications.

Anyway, I always try to imagine what it would be like to have all that fame and power, I can't really understand it at all. But that must play some kind of messed up games with your psyche and what the world is like. I want to sit in a celebrity therapist office for a day (camera/ reality show free of course) and see what they say.
