    I think that people can think about their personal diet, what are they eating, the world production of meat creates soil erosion and makes it impossible to grow some food crops, then there's the consumption of other cash crops, such as coffee or sweets which contain gelatine or animal products, all that sort of stuff. There was a good book written on this called How The Other Half Dies, which I know caused many people to abandon omnivorous diets for vegetarian or majority vegetarian diets.

    Yeah I'm about 90% vegetarian (not vegan i eat lots of cheese) & that was one of the main reasons I started.
