    Ah, don't get me wrong, I am not saying that individuals can afford it, right now.

    I am saying our economies can afford it. Let's see... why don't we stop using overpriced gas to make things far away, over package them and ship them to stores. Let's grow and breed food in local farms and package it simply, and encourage people to eat healthily and locally. Let's break this dependency on expecting every kind of food all year round.

    It's not clever for us waste phenomenal resources growing and eating things out of season, and shipping them all over the world. Let's just accept that strawberries don't get on the table in December (northern hemisphere). It'd actually make the seasons have some value!

    Yeah, I wondered about that, its interesting to see that yesterdays fears and predictions didnt materialise though.
