I'm slowly coming around to Ron Paul's side, even over Obama, if only for the sheer disdain the other republican candidates have for him. The fact that he actually wants our troops out of foreign countries is icing on the cake. I don't think we should abolish the department of education, and there's a lot of other federal programs he wants to cut that I don't think we should, but I'd be willing to sacrifice those for less militarization. I'm surprised disappointed there is no candidate that thinks we should end military engagements and spend the money we save helping people in the US.

Yeah, I'm beginning to feel this way too.

I also trust Ron Paul in a way I don't trust other politicians. He's too much of an idealist to play the lying-politics game. Not to mention Obama is being an asshole right now just to get votes in the middle.

Paul is using the money we save to help people here because the savings from decreased military spending will be used to fulfill a moral obligation to seniors who depend on social security and Medicare.

But, even if that's not good enough it should be fairly easy for liberals with peace as their number one issue to support Paul since most of the military stuff he can take care of without congress. But, the domestic stuff will require the cooperation of congress.

Peace became my number one issue after the foreign policy debate a few weeks ago. The other candidates went absolutely crazy with their warmongering and really Obama isn't much better.

Civilization encouraged religions which in turn introduced depravaty. Of course most people dont think there should be ron paul as president, most people are still hypnotized by religion. Their realities are completly fabricated. Human minds are so maleable and there is actually a science to it. And all these sheeptards think that all is well and fair game in this so called democracy. 1 vote = equal rights! nobody ever mentioned mind manipulationm though; in the form of bias of casual thought, group mentality oppinion mani[ulation etc:. although it's fairly transparent if you've developped a mind of your own.

Do you realize Paul came to his political stances BECAUSE he's a Christian and BECAUSE of what the bible teaches?

    Well don't i look like a douche.

I know there has to be a moral doctrin, but i don't think it should be presented in the way of a book made by god. I just think they should spend a little less time teaching religion and more time teaching politics.

Considering he won THE GOP straw poll in California as opposed to the more cringe-worthy side of the GOP field (the rest of the lot,) possibly.

Though, I still take SOME issues of what he wants to do if he ever wants presidency.

If anything, he is the only GOP candidate I wouldn't mind as president at this point. The rest of the GOP field? Tough luck.

The abolition of education should be a clue that he's in favour of an even less equitable and even more privileged situation that exists at present, that for me would be enough to prevent me voting for anyone, the military build up at home or abroad I dont know what you Americans do about that because I dont see that changing.

The idea that its a choice between ultra capitalism and militarism is really no choice at all, its like saying which level of hell would you like to live in? Or how would you like to be slowly tortured into submission or killed?

That's ridiculous, the bible is a communist book, there's little ambivalence about that and it sure as hell isnt in favour of or sanctions in anyway the kind of economy which Paul would bring into existence.

The Gospel of Christ is a socialist manifesto

Other huge sections of the bible offer a disgusting glimpse into the horrors of monarchy, genocide, slavery, accumulation & concentration of wealth, imperialism, and tyranny

See David, Solomon, Lot, etc. Not to mention the father of all tyrants, Yahweh
