Of course. UC Berkeley is among the most liberal Universities in the country. If there's a hint of force used (necessary use or not), it's going to be dramatized to the fullest. Really, if the situation comes down to the cops having to use physical force to remove/arrest people (under lawful order), in Berkeley especially, do you think there won't be at least one or two journalists there to sensationalize and mar as best they can the image of law enforcement? You're damn right they will. They live for that very moment.

This does not logically effect the accuracy of the account in the OP here at all.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

Ones who do and think a lot of emo and/or crazy shit. Some of them take it just a little too far into insanity for my tastes.

A lot of career academics hold opinions and world views that make it easy to portray them as "nuts". This is true regardless of the university being considered. Since I'm fairly certain you don't know ANY Berkeley professors personally I'm forced to ask what the hell the point of this line of argument is.

Well, what's the point? Bombardment with non-sequiters? What you say may very well be the "end of story", but it certainly isn't the end to this one. It's barely tangentially related.

Howso? The article here is written by a Berkeley emo professor. Yea, I would say imo, he's a little out there. So what.

Don't get your panties in a wad. I live about 5 minutes from Berkeley campus. I eat there often, and hang out there some. I don't have to know someone personally to read an article and agree with their stance, or not.
