Yes, your failure is a fact.

    You. fail. miserably.
Zara, due to your posting with a lack of factual substance, I will no longer consider your posts or respond to them.

I do not discuss topics with people who use emotional appeals.

    Pine, out.

I'm sorry, did I need to make you aware of the fact that we do not have military bases in Iran?

Were you not able to make that logical leap, from where I said the video you posted was not applicable?

Posting a video about American occupation of foreign countries in a thread about Iran makes no factual sense.

Everything about you posting that video, and most of your other posts, demonstrates you have a very weak grip on the facts.

    Mirror looking time.
Incarcerating people is not the same as oppression.
If the rules are broken you are sent to prison.
The US laws which incarcerates people are not the same as Arab laws with incarcerates people.
    I don't believe I have to elaborate.

And the US definitely doesn't shave your head, whip you, send one to prison or chop your hands off for worshiping something other the religion of the state.

    Riva, consider this easy example...

We have 10 people in a democracy.

6 vote to steal from the other 4.

    Is this wrong?

And, if the 4 refuse, should they be sent to jail?

Yes, arab laws and us laws are one in the same. They oppress people.

On that note, if there is no victim, there is no crime.

    Pot calling the kettle black.

Regarding the rogue state that is some other subject and a story for some other thread.

And regarding distribution of power in the middle east?
7 (the count is actually way more than this) nations of extreme oil wealth,( at times when people of all nations worship and couldn't live without oil) is always an imbalance of power when put up against any nation in the world. (Not just Israel.)

The points are incomparable to one another.

Stealing is wrong. We could all agree on this?
Having religious beliefs which are not compatible with another and being punished for it (without it never hurting another) is not the same as hurting someone (stealing) and being punished for it.

And may we all burn in hell the day people vote that stealing is agreeable by law.

    God save the Queen.

    .........

If we all agree stealing is wrong, then why do people vote on it?

People vote on graduated tax brackets

    To keep their federal pensions

    Welfare

    Social Security

All of these things are stealing from another, for someone has to pay for it...

    And they never consented.

The circumstances you discuss are not familiar to me as I am not from the US.
And US tax laws don't bother me as planets and poets never bothered Sherlock Holmes, since they never affect me.

Assuming I understand you properly this is not the same as stealing (though they burden the rest to a certain extent, especially during economic hardships).
But no, that is not the same as stealing.

    ----

I believe we should not sway too much away from the topic since it is never productive to come to an agreement.
