I think it's more of a family thing than it is a regional thing, though.

Peace -to leave, another word for "bye". also used as "I'm peacing now", meaning, "I'm leaving now"

Heat - Suspicious, usually but not always has to do with drugs. "That guy is heat" means he looks like he is on drugs, sells drugs, or has done drugs recently. "That was so heat" is something you might say after a situation where you nearly failed or got caught doing soemthing bad (this use doesn't neccesarily have to do with drugs).

What are you saying - What are you doing?

I hardly use any of those though, I don't think I use a lot of slang.

Dope for cool (I'm kind of out dated). Variations of dope, including "dopealicious," "dopetastic," "dope nasty" and shit that doesn't even make sense like "the chronicles of dope."

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Well, it's not really mine, but "hella" (hella cool = really cool) is a word that originated here in the Bay Area. I think "sick" was a Californian word as well (sick = great).

I like "filthy" as a positive adjective to describe such disparate things as a pitcher's slider or a killer guitar riff. Despite the dictionary definition, there's something almost onomatopoeic about the way the word rolls off the tongue that makes it seem appropriate in this context.
