I know you're not naive. Wait, are we still talking about waterboarding and other such terrorist interrogation techniques?

    Innocent until proven guilty.

    None of them are proven.

Should we torture a suspect of forging a $500 check?

You need to update your thinking. This is the 21st century, if they arent guilty then why are they being tortured? Checkmate.

They are being tortured because an illegitimate government thinks doing so will make people placid to an increase in government tyranny on it's people.

The coining of terrorism in and of itself, is just another excuse for the .gov gorilla to tear more arms off.

No, that's an apple. You're mixing apples with oranges. Hahaha, name that quote!

Guilty by association until proven otherwise when it comes to this sort of thing. That's how it appears to work with terrorist suspects. Know your friends.

There is no guilt by association according to the law of the USA.

You should also note that principles do not change over time.

My brief understanding from listening to Newt talk about a similar topic in the last debate is that terrorists do not have any civil liberties of the United States. Do you recall the part of the speech I'm referring to? I'm specifically talking about terrorists and those waging war on the USA.

Guilt by association: If you hang with the bad guys when the nuke hits, you might get killed.

If you want to further learn about Natural Law and Common Law, and how it is the basis of US law, I suggest you read "Whatever Happened to Liberty" by Richard Maybury

It is a concept that can not be done justice on a forum page, pardon the pun.
