I want Ron Paul, but he won't win, period. That pretty much leaves Romney as the only viable candidate who I feel I can support.
    You lose.

That didn't seem fair. What did you think about his answer regarding torture? I don't agree with him that waterboarding is immoral and impractical.

Herman Cain tries so hard, the poor guy...

I give him an E for Effort cause he is getting attacked from all sides.

I believe all torture is immoral, including water boarding. The effectiveness is irrelevant to me, as it is overshadowed by the invasion of individual rights.

What if it waterboarding someone will save a million lives?

    It won't.

Also, the end never justifies the means.

In fact, we'd save more lives if we would stop going around the world terrorizing other countries, and our own people.

    Sure thing, bud.

And I'm sure we'll stop Iran from getting the bomb by asking them to be friends.

What if not waterboarding will save a million lives just cause maybe someone won't be outraged enough to commit a terrorist act?

What if castrating yourself would save a million lives? I have no evidence it will, and it hasn't been linked to any real accomplishments before, and most people who know about it firsthand or have studied it called it extremely unreliable, and we don't live in the series 24, but hey. What if.

If it were empirically true waterboarding some guy would save a million lives, I would be okay with it. Given its record as an information gathering tool, I don't see any reason to pursue an insanely unlikely scenario like that.
