Ok then, hopefully they'll leave the country. It takes a certain level of ambition and drive to make things happen. Toking it up in the park, holding signs, complaining, and taunting law enforcement officials won't get most people very far.

why don't you move to texas or alabama or somewhere with more like-minded people? seems kinda weird to choose the most liberal, hippie-infested places in the country so you can bitch about it.

That sub-group of people do not define the region. Seattle is a wonderful place.

and I am moving to Tennessee in a few weeks. Don't get me wrong though, I'm annoyed with fundamental right wingers, the same way I am with the left wingers. Basically, it's just morons that annoy the crap out of me.

Because, imo, TX and Alabama have bigger problems than just being hippie-infested.

About the only other place I could stomach would be NYC, and it's too damn cold. I think there are areas in CA that will make me most-happy, and yes, I am going to them. Picking out neighborhoods now....

Um, for everyone lambasting Beargryllz - I think the post was written tongue-in-cheek to deride just the sort of positions you think he's advocating.

I've personally met a few who live on the streets because they want to... but I've found that they're a minority. Apparently it had something to do with feeling trapped in a house, apartment, etc and they'd rather be as close to the world as possible. I find it a bit strange also, but oh well. I respect their choice.
