"Toad" should become a new synonym for "troll". Funny thing is Socrates ever took offense to Aristophanes portrayal of him. Plato did, but Plato was very much a "No Fun Allowed" type of guy.

Yes, but that could prove so destructive to your political ideology...
    What ideology would that be?

Have fun with the , though; I plan on going to some inner city schools later and pranking them with quotes by MLK about being judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin, and how this relates to reverse discrimination via affirmative action.

I dont mean to single out libertarians, for the maximum effect all ideologies should be targeted. Perhaps with a preference for those with too much reverence for dead people who agree with them.

Based on every political post I've seen you write:

    - on a single-axis political spectrum, I'd say you're left-leaning.

    - on a dual-axis political spectrum, I'd say you probably fall somewhere in the left quadrant, in the "Left Liberal" area, toward the corner that I have called "Socialism".

Beyond those two frameworks, who knows, I do not know you well enough, you could be of many different sub-types/flavors.

Although it seems to be rather a habit of yours.

Frankly, that could probably rather evenly be applied to all of them.

On the subject of the "political spectrum" with single or dual axis, I propose the following as being the best method.

Single axis. Left is Control, Right is Freedom. It matters not in reality if something is "economic" or "social", because they are the SAME thing. The "economy" is just what people do for each other in exchange for something else.

As far as taxation goes, all taxes but excise should be abolished in the short order. As taxation is theft, I think over time we will come up with a solution for it.

I also would promote a budget of approx. 750 billion dollars for 2012, the significant portion of which would be for paying our debt off.

So how long would it take to pay off the debt at a rate of 750 billion dollars in a fiscal year?

No clue. I'd like to know but it was a wild guess, by eliminating all of the federal .gov's wasteful spending. I think it would take about 30 years maintaining the 750 bil or so. I would say we need to pay it off sooner, but I think 750 is a reasonable amount for 2012.

I think once the debt is gone, the taxes total raised should be....say, at least under 300 billion.

We could make lots of money by selling off all of our "military" equipment used for foreign wars. That would make a nice piece of change I'd bet.

How would the United States function on 300 billion dollars? What would a budget look like?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Governm...tes_of_America

You're looking at a current expenditure of about $5.7 trillion / yr today (2.3 trillion / yr at the federal level)

Specifically, what would you eliminate in order to make this a feasible option?
