Actually I could buy it at McDonald's because they decided they wanted some of the market share that companies with better coffee were taking. So now they have a lot more options in an effort to stay competitive. They even have iced coffee.
Of course, I make my own coffee, but if forced to buy it outside the home, I'd probably buy starbucks from the refrigerated section of a convenience store.
This is all about profit for them, not about what the minority wants.
The main difference between this and McDonald's is the danger is not a rare medical condition, but a company policy. The coffee is capable of severely burning any customer, the peanut-laced meal is only a danger to those with the allergy.
