That's because most of the Walmart employees have already been there. So it kind of loses its effect.

On a similar rant. People need to stop being so PC and change handicapped parking spaces to 15 min parking. I mean, why do handicapped people need to ALWAYS have open spaces. I am sure they can wait the 2 minutes it takes me to run into AMPM and grab a soda.

I've parked there when I was in a hurry. In and out. Fast. Shoot me.

And jury duty equivalent to slavery? Have you gone completely mad? There is almost no rational comparison.
Okay, but why do they need immediate space that close? Always available.

It makes much more sense to make it a 15 min parking area. So when a handicapped person needs the spot it will soon be available, but they don't have to sit empty while people burn noxious fumes circling a parking lot for a five second task.

I should add, it also helps to decrease waisted space, and of course anyone with a placard wouldn't be held to the 15 min minimum.

What would be the consequence of breaking the law? Same thing it is now.

I don't see how that changes anything.

Thread content moved out of the Jury Duty thread, since they really WERE different topics.
