I get what you mean, though. Maybe we should say "the guys from Microsoft/Apple developed yadda yadda" instead of "Gates/Jobs developed yadda yadda"?
Yep. I will say, "I like this new Asus laptop," without even knowing the name of the CEO for Asus. I assume it came about through a team effort. In Apple and Microsoft's situations, it is more about hero-worship, much like it is with the President of the U.S.

My S.O. thinks he is disgusting. LoL..... He doesn't play by ENTJ rules. He's more like my ENTP brother. Plus, he's a little "inventy" for an entj. Just sayin'.... (I am not insinuating that all entp's do things that are against my S.O.'s codes, but in his case, it's pretty obvious. I think the judgments are against the acts, not the person or their type.)

Here's what my S.O. agrees with:

"Steve Jobs and his company represents everything i dislike (diminutive) about todays world:
    - job outsourcing
    - reasonless glorification
    - media manipulation and hype
    - corporative invasion of users privacy on daily basis
    - frivolous patent lawsuits
    - appearance in front of functionality
    - overpriced products
    - shameful customer support and relation
    - promotion of shallowness, laziness, single-mindless
    - slave labor"

They call it "separation of money and state", just like "separation of church and state". I think the fundamental idea behind it is essential, and it's about fucking time. There is so much corruption and conflict of interest, it's disgusting.

From a practical standpoint, though, I don't know how we're going to get from here (government influenced by big money) to there (government not affected by big money).

For example, if people can't contribute to political campaigns, then how will they be paid for? Tax money? I thought the solution was to put an upper limit on campaign donations, but some would argue that wouldn't work either, because large groups like unions could influence each of its members to contribute the max amount.

So, I don't know what the solution would be.

(The lobbying system seems like a good place to start, though.)
Exactly. They're protesting corporate welfare, not simply "corporations." And they're not all hipsters or hippies or bums. The media does a real good job discrediting it, doesn't it?

How can the rest of us ENTPs get in on this reasonless glorification for laziness and overpriced products??

    Indeed.

I'll confess I don't know that much about them yet, but I'm all for their mission, the separation of money and state. Hellz yeah. The question is: how?

I'm indifferent to his death, I find the religious mourning around his death weird. Learn the difference.

Steve J was not too bad as designer and was a good marketer, but ultimately, his creations are just overpriced pieces of plastic, so not a big deal.
