I see. The state comes in handy in severely punishing 19 year old girls who are mentally imbalanced, but not in punishing wealthy unethical business people who are out of control.

    Gotcha.

Do you even pay attention to what anyone writes other than yourself?
Do you ever try to not totally stereotype people's beliefs?

I've never been a fan of big business. I've also never been a fan of big government. But, somehow you've been brainwashed into believing that everyone falls into three or four simple political camps.

Maybe you should just try sticking to the topic at hand.

I agree with you here. Lady's not right in the head, from what I see...

Yeah... I think living with the fact that you have killed your own child is probably punishment enough. I really want to know why she did so, yes it was unwanted that's obvious, but I assume they still have adoption centers. Unless she was ashamed of having it, but how do you not notice a 9 month pregnant women? And she must've planned on getting caught if she threw it into the neighbors yard. So many questions.

I won't call her mentally ill... I will say that she probably hopes that she is seen as such. Being relieved on pressure for 3 years if living in an impoverished state sounds nice.

    Wow...

Seriously, you guys, post-partum depression is a fairly common phenomenon....it doesn't excuse killing a baby, certainly not without a severe jail sentence, and excusing infantacide on that basis is rather insulting to the countless post-partum suffering mothers who do not do this. If that opinion makes me 'self-rightous', then so fucking be it.

Post-partum depression and post-partum PSYCHOSIS aren't the same thing, bro.

I always love it when men have strong opinions on things that only women experience.

Whatever the severity of her symptoms, she still knew that what she was doing is wrong when she did it. She shouldn't get off completely on 'temporaray insanity' on that basis.

    Please look into post-partum psychosis.

What you're saying is just as ignorant as saying a woman who suffers from depression and anxiety suffers from schizophrenia (heard this shit too).

Not the same thing at all...

So you think Andrea Yates also deserved to get off for murdering her five children?

The woman is a severe paranoid schizophrenic who was coerced by her husband to have more children after her doctor strongly advised against it.

I see you don't understand what psychosis is.

Yates didn't "get off" ...she's STILL in a mental hospital.
