I don't know where you got that I think I'm smarter than anyone from what I said.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with a third party next year. Someone like Rick Perry or Michelle Bachmann might cause me to vote for Obama (since I'm in a swing state and all that jazz), but otherwise I feel like Dem vs Rep is like choosing between a turd sandwich or a dingle berry.

Democrats don't disappoint their base to appease the opposition, they disappoint their base to win the support of moderates and swing voters.

I can't believe anyone believes Obama is anything but an ENFJ.

What other kind of leader would be so flip-floppy moderate in an attempt to make everyone happy, but an Fe dom?

I can't in good conscience vote for this person in the Democractic primaries (I didn't last time, either, I voted for Hillary) and I'll certainly vote for a more green candidate. But when it comes down to the actual presidential election, if he is the Democrat nominee I will have to vote for him out of pragmatism, like picking the lesser of two evils...because voting for a third party candidate in a presidential election is kind of a pointless, retarded "statement" that doesn't really help anyone win or lose.

Yeah -- as disappointed as I am in Obama, he'll be getting my vote (and unfortunately, he knows this about me and others like me). I live in a "swing state", so it's more or less the only sane option (as anyone capable of getting through the Republican primary would be even worse). But you're wrong when it comes to the bolded... voting for a third party candidate absolutely does help someone win -- or more specifically, *lose*. Unfortunately voting for a third-party candidate in the US almost always does little more than hurt the big-party candidate you'd prefer.

If I thought it would do any good... give me a Bernie Sanders/Dennis Kucinich ticket. But if they weren't the actual democratic nominees, I'd *have* to vote for Obama anyway. "First past the post" elections suck. But if there were an actual democratic primary this election cycle, Obama would have a *lot* to show me before I'd consider giving him my vote.
