    I got 62 points.

51-90 points: You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.

    I scored 89.

If I scored as a "true libertarian" on that test, I think I would really be quite the opposite.

    60. You are a medium-core libertarian. Your friends probably want you to stop talking about your views so much.

I didn't score as high as I thought I would (only a 53). Perhaps I'm more of an authoritarian than I thought.
    17. I'm not interested in ideological crusades. I want to do what works without stamping out the little guy. The people who rely on medicaid and social security are the engine of our society. Someone has to do the work they do. People who expect them to work for nothing are selfish and greedy. That kind of attitude demonstrates a fundamental lack of self-esteem. We have to remain competitive in the global economy. Our system of government is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but people who think we can just abolish it are dreaming.

some of these questions are inane

"If it has to fight a war, should the U.S. try harder to avoid civilian targets?"

by "civilian", do they mean innocent people? Should the U.S. try harder to avoid targeting innocent people? *head explodes*

Also, libertarians don't all agree on foreign policy or immigration laws. The author of this test doesn't seem to know or care.

Ok, I'm now on the last section, and after seeing the first question....the person who made this test is an anarcho-capitalist, not a libertarian. AND, he even equates "anarcho-capitalist" with pure libertarianism in the final question. Idiot.

I agree. Seems bogus. Notice how the points increase as the questions get more radical.

After taking the whole test, I am shocked by that high number, since libertarianism seems like the total opposite of social...
