The point is, without cuts..the system breaks entirally. End of story.
The order is actually correct, militarism and aid go first, then after cut social programs.
Imagine you could even direct some military funds BACK into the social programs.
America does not need to cut aid it needs to target it better. Over the last decade America has spent more on military development aid than it has on economic aid. America also spends 23 times the amount arming herself than she does on economic aid. One-third of all American aid goes to Israel and Egypt, the majority of which pays for armaments despite neither being a developing country.
