I see nothing wrong with it; sure it's a silly concept for a kids toy, but role-modeling after parent behavior is perfectly normal for all young children. Hell, most girls already play mommy with baby dolls that can be bottle fed, need diaper changes, and have to be cuddled; what's a breast feeding one but the next logical step?

Honestly, it's not like the toy is going to cause severe damage of any sort; the only reason 70% some people don't like it has more to do with their own ignorant prejudices against such matters.

It's just... stupid. Harmless, but stupid.

    You stole my next post

From the time I watched this video, to the time I wrote this, I passed a number of toys, many of which were comparably idiotic to the sucky doll thing

People who are trying to enforce morality on this are out of touch with reality, IMO. I watched women in my family breast feed when I was a little girl, and in many cultures it's just reality...I mean it's gotta be our sterilized, formula-feeding society that even somehow made people think there was something morally relevant connected to breast feeding. IT IS A FACT OF LIFE.

And it's not even like the stuff encouraging children to be more "sexual" like the tween shit like wearing scanty clothing or make-up....I think that has MUCH MORE to do with pedophilia...it's the influence of projecting the "male gaze" onto pre-pubescent and underage girls. That's something else entirely.

I also don't get why these wackos are saying that it encourages little girls to get pregnant...wut? Little girls have been playing with dolls, bottle feeding dolls, having cribs and play kitchens, changing doll's diapers, and all measure of "mommy" type things since...time immemorial? And these toys have become more and more "lifelike" since about the 1940's or 1950's in Western society. I did (billions of little girls have and do every day), and I've managed to get through three decades of my life without ever once giving birth to a child, and the one time I got pregnant (and miscarried) I was 25, which is a grown woman by anyone's standards.

Of course one of the things that helped me was being forced to baby-sit large groups of children in my teens. I'm talking three kids, six kids not just one little well-behaved munchkin. Enforced baby-sitting should be the norm for teenaged girls so they can feel the very real consequences of having children.
