The idea kind of squicks me out. I have no rational argument against it though. There's no reason to think it damages kids or whatever all the "outrage" is about; it just makes adults uncomfortable, myself included. Actually I think I would have loved it if I had it when I was a little girl. I used to like to put big rubber bouncy balls up my shirt and pretend I had boobs. I can totally see myself putting big bouncy balls under that halter top to uh... improve the quality of the simulation.

Does anyone have a specific case against this product?

In that case, why even make dolls at all? Being that dolls are meant to emulate human behavior, wouldn't the implication be that they existence as a result of some sort of sexual behavior, while obviously not being explicitly state? When children play with these dolls they mimic the typical family settings behavior, as well as the bodies of the dolls themselves are based on the normal human body.

They have mating dolls and I think you have to order them online or go to an adult store.

Real dolls but they're not for kids!

Nothing wrong with sex. It's perfectly natural, isn't it?

Do you think breast-feeding is sexual?
That's not the issue that I'm trying to address.

Barbie and Ken are missing the necessary parts to copulate. If you use this logic, why can't children pretend to breast feed on Barbie's copious breasts?

Dolls are intended to be humans. The mimicking isn't encouraging specific actions. That's up to the imagination of the children playing with them, in order to create fantasy scenarios.

This doll has an intent which is "led to" action, rather than allowing the child's imagination to work.

Overall, I don't have any logical reason why this doll creeps me the hell out. But then, I also don't want to watch someone else breast feeding their child.

You've chosen to address the "natural" angle, through the lens of sexualization. And I'm following such a comparison made by you, to its logical deduction.

Thus, it's a valid question: which category would you place the dolls, hence, the act of breastfeeding?

    - Natural + Explicitly sexual
    - Natural + Explicitly asexual

(natural is a given in both cases, the variability is the sexualization)
