exactly, the one law itself is not a big deal, the trend of taking rights away from parents is a VERY big deal

Why don't we then give them all the rights concerning the babies?

No, that's only if you take them out too soon.

And nostril piercings close up the most quickly in people under 25, not ears.

Yeah, I believe my ear piercings are permanent. I can go without putting anything in them for years. Glad that wasn't the case for my tongue piercing, lol.

Oh. My brother had those spreading things in his ears, and now he hasn't been wearing them and the holes are getting smaller all the time...

They will not close completely. I have two holes in each ear, the first from when I was a small child, and the second from my teens.

Like Mae, I can go years without earrings and will still be able to put earrings in.

Thank god those spreading things get smaller though, that's so fucking grotesque. /Si-driven aesthetic preference

Oh god I hope this doesn't pass. People already have a choice to do it or not.

But let's take a poll of how many circumsized men are unhappy as adults that it occurred when they were a baby.

I know at least one who thinks this circumcision law is due to "fucking hippies."

Babies don't have a choice, period. They don't choose their name, their health care, their education, what they eat, what they wear, etc etc etc. They are 100% dependent on their legal guardians. I'm telling ya, today it's circumcision, tomorrow it's something else.
