I'm guessing the more accurate word here is 'exposed'. It'd probably take some time for anything to actually land in it and multiply.

So, it is basically the most sterile you can get from nature. Of course, for drinking, it isn't so good, since it does have all the minerals your body doesn't want, so it's like putting something in that was already rejected, but as long as we are talking about bacteria and viruses, it is sterile.
Here's one answer to that since you won't believe me:

Urine contains very little bacteria because the bladder itself is sterile. However, the urethra and genital areas aren't, so . . . the answer is no.
That's not just someone's opinion, it is based on a study out of somewhere.

Does that change anything? So, it isn't as sterile as alcohol. Alcohol isn't as sterile as vacuum. Vacuum isn't as sterile as... If it is more sterile than your drinking water, I'd think that would be sterile enough.

And I totally agree. And I can see where a connection might be made between the two.

I'm not strongly for or against not circumcising the penis, but as to the subject of this thread, I think it needs to stay out of the government's hands, that's all. And I especially don't like the God argument that we're made perfect so there's no need for alterations. I guess those same people have never needed to get their tonsils removed.

There is no sterile place on the outside of your body, unless you boiled or burned your own flesh. The tip of the urethra is not sterile. Anything sterile that comes in contact with that is unsterile. Or at least you should assume so, any doctor would assume this since they are so concerned with sterile conditions.

As far as safety is concerned, it's as safe as licking the tip of your own urethra.
None of this sits very well with my stomach anyway, sterile or not...

But these guys are saying that every boy is imperfect and needs a modification in order to be perfected.

So say again how this applies to circumcision?

Oral sex is pretty clean in normal, hygenic situations compared to kissing opened mouth, just FYI.

You seem weirdly squeamish about the very miniscule bacteria on urethras, but do you know how much is in your mouth?
