Are they just giving themselves the option, or are they seriously planning on marketing this?

    That's... amazing. Two days afterward?

    Hilarious.

Maybe it'll be an animated musical -- with a guy who wants to shoot the baddy out of revenge but in the end decides to forgive, a girl who eventually discards her burqa to come into the sun, a cute little exotic animal (does a camel count?) with attitude, and a terrorist baddy who finally turns himself in because he's tired of running from his past.

I'm predicting some kind of modern day "Aladdin 7: Return of Jafar Bin Laden" where Jafar from the dead fuses with Osama and causes the attacks..

I bet the company that owns the G.I Joe's is pretty pissed they didn't get this sooner. To be fair to companies that would want to trademark "SEAL TEAM 6", they did just take out Bin Laden after 10 years of not finding him.... capitalism and patriotism mix all the time, and it's not a bad thing unless you think promoting patriotism and a free market is a bad thing. I don't see the big ethical issue with this particular case.

I'm kind of indifferent. It's just ironic that it's the culmination of a ten-year journey, with lots of human suffering involved and personal lives wrapped up in this for the families of victims... and immediately someone else is focusing on snagging the marketing rights so as to make money.

Maybe they were thinking of something like this:

    Not in Europe.

    Terrorists Have Rights Too
What International Law Says about the Killing of Bin Laden

The elimination of al-Qaida figurehead Osama bin Laden earlier this month was widely celebrated. But was it the right thing for the US to do? International law expert Kai Ambos argues that killing him was both illegal and morally dubious.

No big deal, you can loophole this monopoly on the phrase by using "Seal Team Sex". Besides, the porno industry is booming these days!

I find this less offensive than the cartoon version of Anastasia.

However, I'm rarely shocked by American Capitalism anymore. Just the other day on the news they reported that while most people are losing jobs and their houses, CEOs of major corps are making more money than they were at the beginning of the "recession."

I'm much more troubled by that than Disney's antics, which are easy to simply ignore.

Anastasia wasn't Disney's. It was a 20th Century Fox production. I think it was from Don Bluth's "I need to pay my bills" period.
