One will never know for sure, since he wasn't invited.

Perhaps accounted for in part due to the age difference between brides when they both married... I'm not a Royal watcher but it doesn't look like Kate was thrust into things the way Diana was at 20 when she married. Also, this marriage seems based on a long relationship, that must make a difference.

Yeah, you're right. Diana was still a girl, and a virgin, while Kate is a grown woman. I also believe that they're truly in love (Kate and William) while Diana was mostly an attractive prop for Prince Charles, since he wasn't originally allowed to marry that Catholic slut, Camilla.

I kept looking for Camilla's scarlet letter. Twisted. I think Diana was really in love with Charles too.

Perhaps someone has a fondness for idiots. West fits the bill.

I hate to admit to this but when Wills looked over and said "you look lovely, you look beautiful" with that expression on his face... Such a nice moment.

And haha, I want the bolded as a user title. But it would be a lie. :sadbanana:

Diana may have been in love with him, but he was in love with Camilla, and thirty years ago it was considered "improper" for him to marry her. I've read biographies about Diana's life, and their marriage seems fairly awful, for the most part. I'm sure they had their moments, of course, but apparently the match was less about love and more about politics.
