There is a big difference between a neoconservative, a libertarian conservative, etc.

Ah, well if you haven't figured it out, the only conservatives I like are no conservatives.

I believe in individual responsibility, but I also believe in the interdependence of society and the world. I just can't stand how conservatives tend to reject interdependence for the sake of capitalistic or religious gain. For example, going to war for oil and because "God is on my side."

Consider this, she admits to embellishing her story of sniper fire due to sleep deprivation. How comfortable would you feel now with her answering the phone at 3 am?

That's hilarious, someone should write the Obama campaign with this one. They should use it in their next batch of ads.

What? Going to war for oil isn't a conservative ideal, and neither is the use of divine justification.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

Sounds like a stereotype to me. I'm a libertarian conservative and I haven't even thought about God being on our side.

I wouldn't care it He was or wasn't honestly. If He isn't, He better do something soon to let us know. If he doesn't, I'm just gonna assume He doesn't care. lol

Are you kidding? Conservatives are all pro war for capitalistic gain or religious zealots who wish to integrate God into all facets of life.

And you can't call it a stereotype when it actually happens BMS. Afterall, you yourself said you were "Anti peace".
