What else is new? I can't believe the story made it to the news.

Well, this can be said of any person. Except that some are victims of positive life circumstances. Of course also the people hating the bully are victims too, in a way. Maybe they feel guilty about themselves not having enough time for their children, or something like that. They should see that they are the haters now, and that's not cool.

I agree with TG, I originally heard about this last week and now it's receiving coverage on the other side of the world. It's a cool vid, but things like this used to happen all the time when I was in middle school.

I think it's good that bullying as a widespread problem gets the attention it deserves, because it's really a huge thing if most of the people grow up in an environment where violence is part of daily life.

EDIT: I do think that the schools' reaction to this will be something silly, though.. But, let's see...

I agree. School shouldn't be a hostile environment. Physical and verbal bullying can have a lasting impact on people. Ignoring it or minimizing it not only affects students, but society as a whole.

Andy Warhol was a genius. Everybody will have their 15 minutes.

I have nothing to say on the actual topic. Carry on

Agree with this. His conceptual emphasis on commercialism and industrial mass production seemed to touch on something that's only gotten worse and worse. That's part of the reason why my livejournal is titled "post-warhol convert."

When I was in elementary and middle school I was the proverbial big kid that wouldn't fight back. There were some knuckleheads who took advantage of that to make my life hell. I wasn't wise enough to understand that a few well-placed beat-downs would have made my life much easier in the long run.

As a fourth-grader I used to wish that one day I could find a way to get revenge. By the time I got to high school I realized that I didn't really need to get any kind of revenge against those guys... life was going to do it for me.

Oh, I did haha. Did you add that in after? Oh well haha. This is all below me, and I feel not the need to invest any further time in it. I am curious about the personality types of the kids, though...
Excuse me, but does this smell like chloroform to you?
