    Default Major earthquake hits Japan

The following is from an article that can be found here.
    Tokyo (CNN)
An 8.8-magnitude earthquake hit Japan early Friday, triggering tsunami warnings and sending people fleeing out of buildings in the capital.
The quake rattled buildings and toppled cars off bridges and into waters underneath. In Tokyo, crowds huddled together and tried to reach relatives via cell phone.
Its epicenter was 373 kilometers (231 miles) from Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said.
It triggered a tsunami warning for various countries, including Japan and Russia, the National Weather Service said.
"Earthquakes of this size are known to generate tsunamis potentially dangerous to coasts outside the source region," it said.

Just saw that. I don't think I have any students in the area but I need to check. Eeep! First floods and hurricanes in Australia, then earthquake in NZ.... enough with the natural disasters already!!!
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

There might be something to this Super moon event coming up in a week. This Tsunami is unlike anything I've ever seen. Fire floating on water. There are cars trying to drive away from it. Must be terrifying.

Was pretty scary even where I was. It was six here, some stuff fell down and it built up and up, freaky. Doors shook like hell. We are all okay. Lots of after shocks.
