oh well I screwed up and listed the same option twice. I suck at making polls - any help from the admins would be appreciated.

Why doesn't the poll have multiple options? There are several I would have selected.
"The mathematician's patterns, like the painter's or the poet's must be beautiful; the ideas like the colours or the words, must fit together in a harmonious way. Beauty is the first test: there is no permanent place in the world for ugly mathematics..." - G.H. Hardy

"Another roof, another proof." - Paul Erdős

Because I didn't think to do it. Good point though, too bad I can't change it now.

I guess, you'll have to go with the one you think is closest to your view; or pick one and explain what other ones you would have picked in a post (though you would lose your anonymity)

I can't really say what i would have chosen with the knowledge and experience that people had at the time. With current hindsight I would have gone with the "No, thanks to turmoil" option.

Poll edited. (fixed spelling and grammar too )

For the record, I don't know if I wouldn't change anything about Israel, but I think going back and undoing the Holocaust, which is the reason the Jews fled Europe to begin with, might be a better idea.

Interesting, had no idea Martin Luther was a such a virulent anti-Semite.

I guess it shouldn't be surprising that religious folks are prejudice and ignorant, but for some reason I thought he was progressive for his era (though I never actually read anything he actually wrote before this link).

I don't want it, I just need it, to breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.

Never take life to seriously.. No one gets out alive in the end anyway.
