I think their lack of internet is somewhat inconsequential when compared to the fact that the country is now embroiled in violence amidst a popular overthrow of the government. BTW, did anyone see Anderson Cooper getting his ass beat in the middle of the protests? Now THAT was awesome. What a dumb ass.

What's intriguing is how the violence didn't really start until the president lost America/Obama's support and stepped down. His supporters then started fighting back, and all hell broke loose. They've since been attacking Americans because, surprise surprise, a lot of people around the world hate our guts. Probably because half of Americans think they're rioting over having their internet taken away, as opposed to say... having to live off $2000 a year.

Lol. The US is out so Mubarak immediately sends in the plainclothes thugs. Is this fooling anyone?

I am amused, tho certainly not amazed, by Israel's effrontery. Blasting the US for refusing to continue to prop-up Mubarak? Really?

Mubarak just stepped down. Let's hope the US government doesn't interfere and deliberately fuck things up like they have in almost every other country on the planet.

The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."
