    For the record, I agree with Metal's fear that to elect Hillary would be to elect Bill as well, making her time in office nothing but a recycled presidency. It's not that I know this will happen - she could surprise me - but that I am afraid of it happening. But, yes, I agree that anyone is better than George Bush. I also don't agree with monarchies or dynasties; the office of president is meant to belong to fresh meat after only a while, meaning a few years.

    I need to learn a lot more about all the candidates before I decide for the win. Even to those who say my vote doesn't count, I'd at least like to read up on the candidates enough to know whether I should rightly be afraid or relieved, or something else, once the ballots are in.

    The question is, do you think she is better than McCain? The dude is totally running to be Bush's third term. He wants to continue the war and make Bush's tax cuts for the rich permanent while we are going into a recession. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to vote to continue the Bush legacy but I have been surprised before.

    Reagan = Bush
    Clinton = Bush
    Bush jr = Bush
    Clinton = Bush

    American dynasty. Thank you, Averell Harriman.

    While Mr. Obama may be able to win the presidency, I'm uncertain that he would be able to do the job effectively. It's a far different arena than he's ever served in before.

    I consider it more likely that he'll be on the bottom of a Clinton/Obama ticket, and the obvious choice for the Dem candidacy in 2016. Eight years as Veep would make him a better president.

    I wonder how many said JFK was too young and inexperienced to be a good President...

    The question you have to ask...if he does win will he be better than McCain. I believe so.

    JFK is certainly remembered as quite the hero. The whole country was in love with him, and still is to a degree. Whether he was objectively a "good" president is a very complex question.

    I'm not voting for either of them myself.

    So is this going to be the year that Republicans just don't vote?

    That works for me.
