    Default Richard Holbrooke

Richard Holbrooke's death from complications arising from a ruptured aorta have created a tremendous hole in U.S. foreign policy, especially where it concerned Pakistan and Afghanistan. Richard Holbrooke seems to be irreplaceable, and the Obama administration seems to be utterly confused as to what to do next to solve the problem of the United States being caught in the quicksand known as the Afghanistan war.
What do you think lies ahead for the United States, Pakistan, and Afghanistan?
If you were President Obama, who would you choose to replace Richard Holbrooke and why would you choose that individual?

I hadn't heard about this, but that's very interesting news, how one person was (apparently) handling a situation so skillfully that the government's at a loss now for what to do.
