Puny, arsenic-based lifeforms will divulge their secrets to their human masters! For science, of course.

Kill it, before it stretches forth its arsenic tentacles and attacks Tokyo!

It's too late! We can only hope it hates water as much as the aliens in signs did.

Yeah, I heard about this yesterday and was interested to see what they were going to say.

Part of me assumed they've just been told that there will be budget cuts and they're trying to find something barely interesting to be claimed as a 'huge discovery' to save their asses. It seems I was right about the barely interesting part.

I'm JK. I'm just annoyed at how they over-hyped it all.

It's really a case of semantics in the use of the word 'alien'. Alien doesn't have to mean ET

Nobody here is talking about how cool it is to find the only organism known to man with a fundamentally different (in terms of components) DNA structure? Tis a good time to be a Biologist indeed. Where's Patches at?

It's definitely cool and it opens peoples minds for more possibilities.

On the other hand, it is hard to imagine a planet that has far more Arsenic than Phosphorous. Seems like a local adaptation.
