Sorry for your pain, PuddleRiver. Really seems like his viewers would like him more after this. It makes sense to let the clearly partisan pundits do this stuff, really. Might even be nice to know they mean it and aren't just showmen (and women).
Does he want a pillow for his head?

Well, the suspension is over, that was fast.

I guess it was all because he wouldn't apologize on air about donating to Democrats, not because of just the donations itself, that he was suspended. And of course Phil Griffin has pre-existing beef with him, and now that Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell have their night shows, and are more liked by NBC staff, Olbermann doesn't have as much sway, but he still gets the highest ratings there.

The one thing I don't like about Olbermann is that he's not funny, but still tries to do a little Jon Stewart shtick. Big ego and humor don't mix.

It's true. One thing you can say about Fox News, at least, is that they are honest with themselves, even if they aren't honest with anyone else.

Eh. People in the media should have the same rights to express themselves publicly, donate money to whatever cause (political or otherwise), or exercise their First Amendment however they want to... as long as they're up-front about it.

Everybody is biased, including everybody in the media. So instead of punishing pundits for failing to maintain a perfect illusion of objectivity, I think media outlets should face facts, get over themselves, and get on with business.

Absolutely they should (and do), but they don't have the right not to suffer consequences in their careers for it. MSNBC isn't restricted from disciplining or firing him unless stated somewhere in his contract.

I wish they would just fire him. He is the bill o'reilly of "liberals". Lets stop playing fire with fire and fire all of the outwardly biased journalists.... "conservative" as well as "liberal" and keep those who instead act like unbiased professionals.

    A) There wouldn't be many journalists left then; and B) many people go to these "commentators" specifically for their opinions.

    A) There would be others to fill their shoes...preferably better trained with traditional journalistic ethics...NTs please!

    B) Fuck those "many people". They can just try and think for themselves...fuck them in the a$$.
