Edgar, do you know any studies that compare the amount of marijuana trafficking vs. trafficking of other drugs?

“Proposition 19 allows school bus drivers to smoke pot right before work,”" "Prop. 19 would allow big-rig drivers and even school bus drivers to smoke marijuana right up until the moment they climb behind the wheel," "School bus drivers will be permitted to bring flying monkeys to work" according to a mailer from the organisations like Small Business Action Committee. Prop. 19, of course, says no such thing, and specifically allows employers to discipline and fire employees who are impaired on the job.

So many misleading mailers this year make it look as if Reefer Madness is not so long ago.

I hope you guys know Prop 19 is just a wedge issue, to get you lazy hippies to vote in the midterms. It won't pass.

It would hurt drug cartels, save money, generate money, it would free up police resources for real crime, marijuana use might even go down like in Portugal etc.... but it won't pass.

While some cities in California like San Francisco or West Hollywood have passed resolutions declaring marijuana offences to be the lowest priority, many still go on as usual. Hell, sometimes even cops in lowest-priority cities ignore or are unaware of that...in SF that was a bit of a problem for a while and arrest rates actually increased.
