Really not feeling in the mood to vote this year. In 2008, I was kind of excited, my first big election to vote in. I was in college, and I was confused about how absentee ballots worked, so I flubbed that one. Didn't send it in on time, basically.

But in 2008, I kind of knew who I wanted to vote for. Unlike this year. When I moved here a year ago, I did register to vote here, just so I'd be able to choose. The guys I'd probably vote for are pretty surely going to win, so whatever. I guess as they say, the only way to do something right is to do it yourself.

Thanks for the links, though. Those did help with lesser-known candidates, too.

Indiana is weird. Those links won't work for finding my polling place. The only link I've found that works for me is:
    http://maps.google.com/maps/mpl?modu...voter-info.xml

It even gives you driving directions.

Let's see last time I voted... I walked in gave them my ID, took my little paper and walked over to the machine and cast my vote... I was done... However, I'm pretty sure one of the people working the polls should have been kicked out.... She was pushing for people to vote for McCain pretty hard.... I think I heard on the news later that she was told to leave and escorted out.

    I can't vote until I get home from my hour-commute at 5pm.

It's a new place, since I just moved at the end of this past spring.

I have no clue how backed up it might be.
    Hopefully not much.

I guess I have some sense of civic responsibility.

I felt more passionate about voting when younger, while being more inclined to not bothering to drive in and actually do it.

Nowadays, I feel more apathetic, but I force myself to vote anyway.

I mailed in last week. I'm pleading with my bf to vote. I told him where it was and everything. But I will be a good girl and control my temper if he doesn't.

I voted after I dropped my kids off at school.
It was a piece of cake; no traffic or crowd to deal with at all.
    I'm in Florida.

luckily there is a polling place at my university. I didn't get my mail-in-ballot mailed on time because I underestimated the time it would take to research everything to my standards so I'm just going to drop it off there in class.

I'm in California and I voted YES on Prop 19...yeah legalized marijuana baby!

I have no idea if it will win or no as the polls are all over the place demonstrating the Bradley Effect (particularly as to the discrepancy between live poling and automatic polling) as well as inefficiencies of conventional polling practices (i.e. large disparity between land line phones and cell phone callee's responses)

I don't use marijuana and probably wouldn't, but I think it should be legalized too.

Just voted. The voting place was a couple blocks away from here. The whole process including getting there and back probably took 10-20 minutes. No trouble at all.
    Go to sleep, iguana.
