Until I saw this being discussed on MSNBC(Rachel Maddow, I think) a few months back, I thought this was just a problem with my tv/cablebox. Glad to see somethings being done about it though, 'cause it's really annoying to have to keep fiddling with the volume!:steam:
They're waaaaaaaay to late for that, I can't remember the last show I've watched on TV that wasn't the Daily Show or Colbert Report.
That doesn't mean it's not going to affect anything. This forum is full of tech savvy people, but I'll wager that at least 90% of people that watch TV watch it on...TV. Only 66% of Americans even have a broadband connection at all.

I'm betting this will be universally popular, I've only noticed the jump in volume with watching my brothers sky connection, its totally crazy. Most of the time I put the TV on mute when the ads are on.
