Well, baby boomers are the ones who will be receiving the entitlements. NFs comprise a very small proportion of the population and are spread out over all ages, so they may not even be receiving entitlements for a long time coming anyway.

All i keep trying to tell myself about this is that:

    a) money doesn't even exist, human behavior exists

    b) the government knows it doesn't exist, so it knows it doesn't really matter what we spend/tax.

What matters is what people keep doing. given that all currency and fund based systems are hollow and false, wheres the fallout from doing what we are doing now? is everything in Amerca just going to STOP someday? maybe i dont get economics, but i dont see the danger here

Economics is a study of human behavior.

If someone stands out in a field, looking up and pointing at absolutely nothing with a lot of people walking around there, eventually everyone's going to stop and look. Right now, Oberon's the guy pointing.

I still completely don't understand how this would lead to single payer. If anything, it seems like it'd lead to the opposite.

The risk is a substantial devaluation of the dollar which equals reduced purchasing power. If you consider global trade, the risk is massive.

However, does the US know which is more valuable -- a big bag of money, or a loaded gun?
