Terrorism only works until it becomes boring then it's just like graffiti.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

I'm not thinking of terrorism, I'm thinking more ultraviolence.

Says they who came up with the idea in the first place.

It must be hanging around in your subconscious somewhere. You just have to look harder.

And even so, who cares what you think. Explosions are pretty. That's an undisputable fact.

Errm did your thought train derail or did you switch tracks whilst I wasn't looking?

Well some of them are... basically you need to blow up interesting things... buildings are soooo boring and people are just way too squishy.

How's about a whole stack of trees? A prize for the highest torch created....

My thought train is more of a bus with a drunk driver. Though I was thinking of this, if you didn't know.

And everyone knows that the best thing to blow up is beached whales. However, they can be hard to find.

Nah. No one blows up the Welsh. No point. All they got is rain and sheep.

By choice. The tale of a sociopath is not something which attracts my eye.

Oh and a brilliant example of the British attitude was given to me last night.

My father in law once went to a manchester city football match. As the ten thousand or so people were sat waiting for the match to start the tannoy broadcast "We've been told there's a bomb in the stadium. If you'd like to check under your seat, please do so now. If you'd like to leave, please move in an orderly fashion to the exit. If you'd like to stay, the game starts in two minutes."

    Apparently not one soul moved

This is most likely because it was a football match. Had it been their place of employment I have little doubt that discretion would have seemed like the better part of valour.
