    Personally I think that words are just words and only cary with them the intent of the user and the power given by the recipient. Plenty of people use the word as a weapon and plenty of people are still hurt by that word... and many other words like it.

    Thus the word itself is just a string of letters placed together people are the ones that give it meaning and I think - just like with any other word - you have to look at the intent behind the use of the word... I think people that feel the need to insult people with words like that have issues and I feel sorry for people who still let the use of words like that affect them in a negative way...

    Honky and Nigger. Both words are in Webster's online dictionary. What is the big deal? It's not as if we haven't heard these words before.
