I really feel sorry for the kid in this, who is probably going to be suffering a lot of humilliation from all the publicity. I'm not terribly keen on racial tokenism myself, but the fact that it was simply a picture of a perfectly ordinary local kid, and the ludicrously petty over-reaction that has followed, suggests that there are indeed racial motivations behind all this; they don't even seem to be bothering to conceal them that well. Anyone know what exactly the problem is with Arizona?

    This will not end well...
But it will at least be poetic, I suppose...

Hmm... But what if it does end well?
Then I suppose it will be a different sort of poetry, a preferable sort...
A sort I could become accustomed to...

I used to think earlier that the Arizona immigration thing was based on real issues without any racial overtones; but the more i delve into the Arizonan (or is it Arizonian? .lol )history of racial discrimination, the more i believe that my initial assumption was dead wrong.
