I use to be engaged in politics until I found out it was like watching football or any other sport. But it is always cool to discuss politics because it eventually leads into philosophy or religion which is always interesting.

A brief surf over Wikipedia results in several political identification terms. It is inevitable that you will identify in large part with at least one branch...
There's also the possibility of one operating outside political ideology, and more so in the realm of political philosophy. Where on the spectrum would you place Plato and Aristotle for example?

Anyways, I'm just an evil reactionary.

    Oooooohohohoho I want to play,

Plato would probably be a Left Liberatarian or a possible socialist (I am only judging this by Plato's Laws and Republic), and Aristotle may be Right-Libertarian (Only judging this by Nicomechian (Sp?) Ethics and Politics)

But then again, they both seem obsessed with the fabled Philosopher King or Queen, so I am at a lost here.

A libertarian Democrat is the name given to a person with generally libertarian ideals who is a member of the Democratic Party (the American left-wing party). It refers to someone who has very moderate right-libertarian ideas (which could be referred to as left-libertarianism, but this term could be confused for the same term used for libertarian socialists).

From my personal experience (and I have a decent sample, I used to post in a political forum), NTs are very unlikely to be mainstream liberals. They are often radicals (due to identifying the logical flaws in the foundation of the system), or pragmatic right-wingers. ESFJ as libertarian on the other hand is hilariously unfitting.

Well, the problem I have here comes from the way categorical terms evolve. Anything can be categorized, but in common usage, these words for political categores quickly evolve into having meanings are not terribly applicable to a lot of people. It's not that a category cannot be named, it's just that the appropriate meaning never lasts.

This is also made worse by the factor people are rarely working from a common reference when engaging in these discussions.

Well, Fe Si is not very compatible with an ideology that calls for the removal of anything resembling a social safety net.

I don't see why not. Why wouldn't someone who is a STRONG extrovert with Fe be interested in others and how they feel and what they need, but also not think it's the government's place to take from some to give to others? I bend over backward to help people of my own free will.

I would imagine a weak Fe user (or an Fi user even) would be more likely to think that way. But whatever floats your boat I guess.
