Aquinas was an innovative thinker who built upon what was already heeded in his day. Even though I don't personally like the Just War doctrine because it involves war and disregards peace and compassion, it may have been proper at the time. Bleh.

I think that's why I don't like other people who like to discuss theology.

Does the Pope know what he's talking about?

Judging from his writings, yes he does. Perhaps you should read some of them.

Isn't it ironic that you're trying to censor me?

I'm not censoring you. BTW, making up random questions do not constitute actual arguments Mystic. Don't be like Victor.

    Alright, fine.

Censorship is necessary for structure, on both grounds of religious and secular ethical standards. I think this rule could be applied to every nation or state, though some governments are much more lenient than others for a variety of reasons. You are not a fundamentalist Christian. Spanking your children is sometimes an inevitable facet of child rearing. The Catholic Church need not be unfairly demonized for harboring priests who fondle little boys, but that doesn't mean they should not be held accountable by secular/religious law.

The world of Islam is a dynamic one. I have no idea what it feels like to be in a Muslim's shoes, and I am much more ignorant about Islam than I am Christianity.
